Portfolio: Books

During an 18-year period, I taught business subjects for the Professional Development Division of Clark College, and wrote two mini-texts to support those classes:

There were no “accounting for non-accountants” courses in the Vancouver area fifteen years ago, so I created a nine-week (27-hour) course, designed for use by business owners, managers, accounting staff, and anyone working with business financial records. There were no texts for this class, since it covers the basics of accounting, cost accounting and financial management — information usually contained in multiple textbooks. For my students, I wrote this 223 page mini-text.

New ExecOver the years, I taught a variety of management-training classes for my consulting clients, and for Clark students. The 30-hour class emphasized the flat-organization model of Deming and Senge, but I was unable to find a single text that served the class objectives. I wrote this 190 page text to encapsulate the modern management models and reflect my own years of success as a corporate officer and as an organizational development - management consultant.
